Responsibilities
- Edit videos for our social media posts and other uses.
- Create graphics, cover images, and thumbnails for videos.
- Upload and schedule video posts and other content to publish on our social media channels.
- Monitor the performance of posts on social media and exploit opportunities for improvement.
Job Terms
- NGN 250,000 (net) per month. Opportunities for raises and bonuses based on good performance.
- 100% remote. Flexible work times. Work from anywhere.
- Must have a good laptop and internet access.
- Can use the following tools: CapCut, Opus Pro, and Canva.

Note: We typically post 1 to 2 videos per day across social media. The length of the videos varies; each video could be as short as 1 minute or as long as 30 minutes (rarely).
We will send you the raw video recordings and you will be expected to split, edit, and deliver short videos. Once approved, the short videos have to be uploaded and scheduled on social media at least one week in advance.

How to Apply
Here’s what you need to do to get the job:
Step 1: The Task
Use ANY of the video footage provided below to create 2 short videos (in 9:16 format and not longer than 2 minutes each). You can use one, all, or any combination of the video footage to create your 2 short videos.
You should also design a cover/thumbnail for each short video.
The goal of this task is to showcase your creativity, video editing skills, and ability to create engaging and potentially viral content.

Note: We will not use your finished videos without your consent. You're free to include a watermark or sign on your videos to protect your copyright and prevent unauthorized use of your work.
Step 2: The Application
Send an email with the title "VE Position Q" with the following information:
- Your full name
- Location (town/city and country)
- Phone number (WhatsApp)
- What makes you a good fit for the Video Editor position (no more than 5 sentences).
- The link(s) to the uploaded files (2 videos and covers) on Google Drive.

Step 3: The Interview
If your application is selected, you will be invited for a virtual video interview (on Zoom or WhatsApp).
Following the interview, we will decide on a candidate who will be offered the position.
